Loot
Exact item counts: open your bag's Etc tab for a few seconds when you start and again later. What it gained is counted even if messages were missed.
Read from the pickup messages in the bottom right of the game. Hover an item for its stats. Item names, stats and NPC prices are MapleStory Classic World's own, from OSMS Data Explorer (CC BY 4.0). Change a price if your shop pays differently; your price is kept.

Your item prices
Prices are what NPC shops charge (from NiaDB), or your usual Free Market price for items shops don't sell. Tick NPC for shop items so your citizenship discount applies to those it covers. Change them any time; the session cost updates.

Buffs
Press Start when you use a buff; it turns red in its last 15 seconds and alerts you when it runs out. Running buffs also show in the overlay widget.

Boss timers
Log a kill with its channel; you're alerted when the boss can spawn there again. Mano's 60โ120 minutes is what players report (NiaDB).
Where to go
Pick a quest, a monster, an NPC or a map. The way there through the portals is drawn over your game: a thin golden line from your name tag to the portal to take, a ring round it, and an arrow at the edge of the screen when it's further away. For an NPC it goes on to where they stand. Keep your minimap open: your yellow dot on it is how the tracker knows where you are.
